My Background: With over a decade of experience as an Educator in both Chicago and Los Angeles and nearly two decades as a Mindfulness and Yoga Kids Teacher, I have had the privilege of working with children in various capacities. From teaching Yoga and Social Emotional Learning (SEL) in public schools and communities in Chicago with Mindful Practices LLC to creating and teaching movement and educational programming for The Chicago Children’s Museum to writing and hosting SEL video content for The Michigan Learning Channel on PBS.

It has been my joy to also actively participate in compassionate initiatives. I dedicated my time volunteering at Free Arts for Abused Kids in Chicago and initiated and taught a volunteer program for children with autism in Venice, CA.

It is also a passion of mine to teach adults, parents, teachers and principals self care through mindfulness, SEL and yoga. Leaders who are well equal children who are well.

The Journey of Becoming a Parent: Despite my extensive experience, I must admit that nothing truly prepared me for the transformative experience of becoming a parent myself. It was during this phase that I found myself naturally incorporating the tools and techniques I had acquired over the years of teaching, relying on them more than ever as a parent and for my personal health, wellness, sturdiness and peace.

My Purpose: It fills me with joy to be able to share my wealth of knowledge and experience, guiding others in discovering practical ways to foster calm and connection not only with their children but also within themselves as parents and caregivers.
