Mindfulness Tools for Calm and Connected Children + Families
Welcome! My name is Amy Hori. I am a Mindful Family Coach, Preschool Teacher, Certified Adult and Yoga Kids Teacher, Social Emotional Learning Specialist, Musician and Mom of 2 boys. I have witnessed the benefits of Mindfulness in countless children that I have taught for over 15 years and in my own family’s ability to feel connected and calm. Children need these tools now more than ever. I would love to share them with you and the children in your care.
Mindfulness tools have been proven in numerous studies to have a positive impact on children’s and adults’ mental, emotional and physical well-being. Mindfulness improves focused attention and the ability to manage and calm big feelings. It decreases anxiety and stress and fosters empathy and gratitude.

Mindful Kids 30 min. Virtual Private Session
Your child will join me virtually for a 30min. session where I will teach them research backed mindfulness tools. They will take away several practices they can use anywhere including mindful breathing, movement, drawing and other creative calming and focusing tools. (minimum 4 sessions recommended to begin) Ages 4-10
Mindful Parent or Caregiver Consultation
Parents or caregivers of children ages 3-12 will join me virtually for a 45 minute session. I will offer tools and guidance specific to you and your child’s needs. You will take away short, simple and efficient tools for helping kids manage big feelings, build self awareness and focus and find moments of peace in your daily life.

Mindful Kids 45 min. In Person Private Session
45 min sessions offer the same practices as a 30min session with the added benefit of being in-person. (minimum 4 sessions recommended to begin)
Ages 3-10
Yoga Kids Private Session
I will join a group of kids at your home, school or park for a one hour yoga kids class. This holistic kids class is filled with movement, music, yoga and age appropriate mindfulness tools to nurture self awareness, self confidence, focus and calm. Ages 3-10 (2 year olds must participate with a caregiver)
Family Yoga
Amy will join you in the privacy of your home for a 45 min family yoga class that includes movement, music and age apropriate mindfulness tools that you can incorporate into your daily lives to increase connection, joy, calm and peace.
